It is a common misconception that Jeremy Corbyn’s often voted against the Labour party whip during his years in Parliament. Corbyn has voted against the whip but only on a small number of social/conscience issues. Corbyn’s voting record shows that he voted consistently for the same issues such as the Iraq war and Trident. On the vast majority of issues votes the same way as other Labour MPs.

He has hardly ever rebelled against their party in the current parliament
